Jon Ozmint, Mark Fisher, and David Taylor are heading to Uganda next week! Jon and Mark are leaving on Thursday and David will follow on Sunday. We had a gathering to pray over them today after church. We also prayed for Brenda Richards, who is heading back to Lebanon on Wednesday of this week.
The guys will be going to the Kiryandongo refugee camp where Jon and I trained in 2016. Jon will do a refresher course and we will be supplying them with a half acre drip system. Once David catches up with them on Tuesday the 5th, they will travel onto Arua, in northern Uganda.
The team will be working in the Rhino camp, near Arua on the 7th and 8th. They will train on conservation farming techniques and distribute 100 addtional bucket drip irrigation kits. They will also take a half acre system for the Moru church garden in Arua.
Jon and Mark will split off on Saturday to start their trek home and will arrive in US on Sunday afternoon. David will go back through Kiryandongo and worship with Pastor Sosthen’s church there on Sunday before heading back home. He will arrive on Monday afternoon.
Please keep these guys in your prayers. We will try to keep you posted through the blog while they are gone. Also remember to pray for Brenda as she is in Lebanon. Thanks so much!
